Türkiye müzeleri ile özel koleksiyonlardaki ağırlıkların yayımlanmasını öngören Corpus Ponderum Antiquorum et Islamicorum (=CPAI) projesinin ilk cildi Silifke Müzesi’ndeki özel bir koleksiyonu kapsamaktadır. 161 adet ağırlığın yer aldığı katalog, Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi (49 adet), Bizans (33 adet) ve İslami (79 adet) olmak üzere üç başlık altında kurgulanmıştır. Hellenistik ve Roma İmparatorluk Dönemi ağırlıklarının çoğu kare veya dikdörtgen formunda, üzerleri düz kurşun ağırlıklardır. Roma İmparatorluk Dönemine tarihlenen ekmek tahtası formundaki kurşun ağırlık ise üzerinde yer alan birim adı (litra) ve caduceus tasviriyle ilginç bir örnek oluşturmaktadır. Bizans ağırlıkları iki-uncia’dan bir nomisma’ya kadar değişen ağırlıklarla temsil edilmektedir. İslami ağırlıkların büyük çoğunluğunu Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’na ait dirhemler oluştursa da az sayıda Osmanlı öncesi dirhemler de yer almaktadır. İslami ağırlıkların çoğu kuş gözü motifi ile süslenmişlerdir.
